THE YOR Health TRUTH!

STOP!! Have you ever thought about joining YOR Health or any other network marketing company?

If you don’t do your research, you can easily be MISLED and even get SCAMMED!!! There are fly by night MLM companies out there, but with the proper information you don’t have to be a VICTIM of these schemes!

My name is Jennifer Summers and I am a proud mother of two. I have worked in Southern California real estate for the past 8 years, and with the horrific down-sizing in my industry I have been looking for additional financial avenues to support my family and raise my children.

I want to bring my story to you with as many details as I can recall from my encounters with YOR Health and the people who got me involved. I know this will be long but it should shine some light on this company and what they are doing here in Orange County. So here goes…

Several weeks ago a life long friend of my family introduced me to a Network Marketing company called YOR Health. They focus on selling enzyme based nutritional products. The only MLM exposure I have had in the past was from an ex-boyfriend of mine, who LOST A LOT OF MONEY and ended up with a lot of products he never could sell or even use. He also became very angry and abusive during this time. So needless to say I was less than thrilled to hear about YOR Health or any network marketing company for that matter.

My friend Sarah had invited me to a tasting party several Sundays ago. She is a highly successful business woman and very well known in our area as a top real estate agent. Her home is located in one of the most beautiful areas in all of Orange County, with breathtaking views from all angles. I didn’t know what to expect really but figured it would be a good time to catch up with her, since we had barely kept touch for the past few years. Upon arrival I noticed there were a fairly large amount people attending this party, probably around 25 or so. When Sarah answered the door my jaw hit the floor. She looked about 10 years younger than the last time I had seen her. Of course she instantly had my attention. As I started to mingle with the other guests the chatter among them seemed to be about her transformation as well.

She presented us with a berry drink and then let all of us know that she was going to share her secret with us shortly. To be honest I thought she was going to tell us she underwent some crazy surgery or something. After everyone got settled, she began telling us about an amazing new line of products that has turned back the clock on her life, and that she was so excited to be able to share them with us today.

I thought to myself, “Oh boy here we go with the MLM pitch”. At that moment I really felt bad and sorry for all the people that were invited to the tasting. But what Sarah said next shocked me. She told us that she was not actually a representative for YOR Health, but rather her son was, and that her son introduced the product line to her and expressed his concern to Sarah about her health. She said that he referred to her health as a ticking time bomb! And that he loved her too much to sit back and do nothing.

She went on to say that because of her son’s love for her, she decided to give it a shot and stick to it, and it has changed her life, and turned back her “biological clock”. Because of her life changing experience with the products, Sarah had invited us to her house to try some of the products and to get our feedback if we would be interested in YOR Health and would want to go into a business opportunity to sell it with her. She called us the finest group of people she could ever think of to start a business with!

Most of us agreed that seeing Sarah’s transformation was pretty overwhelming evidence that she had been doing something right, and many of the guests were seriously considering the idea. Sarah then introduced her son Curt, whom I have known since I was a little girl. Curt also looked like he had slimmed out quite a bit, and seemed to be bursting with energy. He was very polite and told us how excited he was that so many of us had made it out to meet on a Sunday so close to the Holidays. Curt then said that today was a very special day for YOR Health because the company was broadcasting their first ever live event on the Internet. Curt had a TV setup in the main room, and connected to a yorhealth website to watch the live feed. The TV displayed a countdown clock with about 15 minutes remaining until it began.

While we were waiting some of the guests had began to ask Curt some questions about YOR Health. One of the questions that stood out to me was when a gentleman asked Curt why YOR Health is different than any other nutritional company out there. Curt explained to us the difference between “good” nutrition, and “effective” nutrition. He said that putting all the essentials into a pill means nothing if your body is unable to absorb it. Curt claims that YOR Health uses high quality ingredients and enzyme delivery systems to increase the effectiveness of each product they bring to the market. Curt went on to say that the proof is you! You will feel the difference even with something as basic as the yor health’s daily vitamin. Curt’s enthusiasm about this product line alone was enough to make me want to try it out.

Also during this time Curt began handing out very professional leather folders to all the guests. The folders contained his business card, a notepad, a couple forms and a pen so that everyone could take notes while watching the live event.

After a few more questions the lights dimmed and the live event began. When the video started you could see a very large crowd of people. I was told later that there were over 700 people attending the event, and it was taking place here in Orange County. The first speaker stressed concern about how the United States is not only experiencing financial difficulties, but also health problems. He didn’t seem to dwell too much on the negative side of things, but rather he seemed to focus on why YOR Health was such an exciting company to be a part of right now. He also talked a little bit about what Curt had mentioned to us earlier regarding “effective” nutrition with enzyme formulas.

The next speaker was an older gentleman with a lot of energy and all smiles. I believe he was a former Network Marketing guru or a founder of a MLM Company of some sort. He mentioned that a company like YOR Health only comes around once in your lifetime, and that they are on the verge of “take off”. He then forecasted that YOR Health would be the next multi-billion dollar MLM to emerge, and he had very little doubt otherwise. This really seemed to get the crowd roaring, and even Curt commented to everyone at the party that coming from this owner, that is really saying a lot.

Next was a Doctor that sits on the YOR Health board, he talked about the “all-star” lineup of medical and nutritional doctors associated with YOR Health. He was followed by a group of Athletes that both use and endorse the YOR Health products. Up to this point everything seemed really nice, but it was mostly a lot of general information about the company.

BUT the next part of the event was very informative and eye opening. A very well built younger gentleman began talking about the YOR Health products. In all he probably spoke about eight different products. Two of the products he talked about really stood out to me.

The first was a meal shake. He explained that it was not a protein shake like most people drink when they work out, but rather a shake that would help you replace an entire meal and help curb your appetite. He also explained how replacing your meals with this shake would save you money vs. normal meal costs. I thought that was a pretty clever marketing angle, and made sense as long as the shake tastes good!

The other product that caught my attention was the YOR Health vitamin. This seemed to be a shocking parallel to my personal life, because I had just talked to my mother the day before the party about her heart health. My mother told me that she finally found something that was helping her strengthen her heart and it was called CoQ10. Come to find out as I was sitting in Sarah’s living room, this yor health vitamin has 100mg of CoQ10 in it, and astoundingly that was just 1 of the long list of ingredients in the vitamin.

Shortly after the gentleman had finished talking about the products he gave a short testimonial about how the products improved his digestion. He then called up a very stunning Asian woman who claimed to have been taking the products since the company started. Her before picture showed quite an amazing body transformation, but it didn’t stop there. She then disclosed her age. She was over 40 years of age, and it was at that point that many of Sarah’s guests started chattering with excitement.

Much like Sarah’s transformation, I felt the story was too good to be true and that something else had to be at play. I guess I felt a little bit annoyed that someone who was almost a decade older than myself looked younger and appeared to have more energy than I did. Regardless, something was transforming these women and I wanted in!

As the next segment of the event was beginning, Curt appeared to have some issues with the internet connection, and he was unable to reconnect to the online event. Curt & Sarah didn’t seem too bummed about losing the connection, and started right into serving samples of the products. Later I found out that the yor health online video stuff had crashed due to overload of viewers.

During the sampling I was anxious to try out the meal shake. I am a big fan of anything chocolate, so it was my first choice to start with. Curt presented me with 2 variations of the chocolate “MRP” which I was told stands for Meal Re-Placement. The first one was mixed with just water, and my first response to it was that it tasted much better than I thought it would, it was actually quite enjoyable, but I was not sure if I would be able to drink it day in and day out. The second variation of the chocolate mrp was mixed with a small amount of bananas. WOW! I have to admit this tasted wonderful. Immediately I asked Curt if I could review the nutrition facts for the product because I could not believe this drink could make me healthier and possibly lose weight.

I continued sampling products. The next was a “Green Drink” that was mixed with diet apple juice. It was subtly sweet and quite tasty. After that I tried two different mixtures of the Vanilla replacement shake. The first one was with just water, and tasted better than expected. The second mixture was with diet lemonade, and was very unique. Again it was more of a subtle sweet, but also very enjoyable.

After about 30 minutes of tasting and socializing, Curt gathered everyone’s attention and began asking for feedback. Everyone seemed impressed, and liked the idea that these products could make them feel better and live more healthy lives. I also have to admit I too felt that I could benefit from these products, both physically and possibly financially. Curt handed out enrollment forms to us and said. “If this is too much too fast for you please don’t feel obligated to sign anything you are not comfortable doing.” He also wanted us to know that we are all friends and he wants everyone to continue to be that way whether they choose to participate in the YOR Health opportunity or not.

Curt’s statement helped ease my nerves. I never do well with high pressure sales, and I never sold that way myself. It was comforting to know that they valued me as a close friend and wanted me to get in at the ground floor with them. I told Curt I was going to think about it, but I promised not to string him along. I hung around for a little longer, and then needed to get back home to my girls.

On the drive home I was replaying many of the things that had happened during the house party. It seemed like I had been exposed to so much in just a short amount of time, kind of like a whirlwind. But, I think it was a good thing. As a matter of fact… it was a great thing. I had not felt butterflies in my stomach like this in years, and even though it was kind of foreign to me, I knew going into this business venture with Sarah and Curt would be a smart move.

After arriving back home I decided to hop on the computer and do my due diligence and research more about YOR Health and what others were saying about the company. After doing a quick search I was shocked to see the words like SCAM, EXPOSED, and FRAUD! I instantly got an unsettling feeling in my stomach, but started doing some digging.

After about an hour of research I was somewhat conflicted. I came to the conclusion that network marketing is not for everyone. BUT I knew that already from my boyfriend’s previous experiences with MLM. What I don’t understand is why people would call YOR Health a scam, only based on the way that someone presented the company to them. On one of the forums I read that they were making wild accusations about the company, but the company clearly states that they have a 100% money back guarantee. So I didn’t see how any of the scam stuff they were saying was relevant. Simply put, if you don’t like it, get your money back.

The next morning I decided to call up Sarah to see if she was aware of the information I had uncovered. Sarah said she was indeed aware of the posting, but she said that every MLM company she has ever researched has people that respond negatively to the Network Marketing Business model. She claimed that it is mainly due to people not fully understanding that it takes work to make money, and MLM is not just a hand out. She went on to say that strong business individuals such as herself and I are ideal candidates for MLM. This made me feel good knowing Sarah’s past accomplishments.

I expressed concern to Sarah about having such negative postings about the company could make it hard for us to grow our business. Sarah replied, their really is nothing to worry about. The YOR Health products are life changing, and people will need little more validation than that as to the potential to make money from it. The products are truly the star of this organization, and you can’t say that for all MLM companies.

I let Sarah know that I was going to do a little more research on the company first, but I would let her know by the end of the day if I was going to take the step to become a YOR Health representative. She responded quite kindly that she looks forward to hearing from me.

After the call I did some more research, and found that everyone seemed to be basing all of the negative information about this company on that one single forum website. This seemed really ridiculous since most of what I had read there was nothing more than people bad mouthing the company in a very unprofessional manner, and more important WITH NO ACTUAL VALIDATION to the statements they were making. The only piece of semi validated information was a legal case that was brought up about the owner. BUT what the forum poster claimed about the case was not even true. He simply drew a connection between the case existing and the owner of YOR Health being guilty of it. Come to find out they were never found guilty, and the case settled for a moderate fine.

This got me thinking… I decided that if I were going to do this business I need to get more factual and proven information about YOR Health out onto the Internet. So I have created this blog to uncover the truth of what I find and my experiences as I experience them with this company.

I called up Sarah, and let her know “I am in.” She asked me what had changed my mind. I told her, “I am NOT about to listen to people who never even participated in network marketing tell me that YOR Health is a scam.”

I also shared with Sarah my idea of creating this blog to share my experiences with YOR Health as we go. She loved the idea, and agreed it will be a great record of our challenges and our triumphs.

As of writing this blog I feel there is really no good source of factual information online about becoming a part of this company. So I truly hope that my story and this blog will shine some TRUTHFUL light on YOR Health and what you can REALLY expect when joining it.

So my journey with YOR Health has begun, I would like to take this time to thank Sarah and Curt for this opportunity, and I look forward to the road ahead.

Updates to follow!

Does the YOR Health Refund Process WORK?

Does the YOR Health Refund Process WORK?

What I have noticed in Network Marketing so far is that you can never count your chickens before they are hatched. About a week ago I invited a couple friends of mine to a YOR Health “kick-off party” at Sarah’s house. Among my guests was one of my best friends, Jessica. Jessica is also an OC woman and has worked in Advertising over the past couple years. I figured she would be an ideal candidate to join my team and help me promote YOR Health!

On the night of the party, I was pleased to see all my guests arrived on time, and the general feel of the gathering was again very casual and light. Sarah gave a little history on herself, and then turned the floor over to Curt, who presented the YOR Health products and opportunity. Everyone seemed fascinated by the enzyme based product line. Curt did a great job presenting the part about Effective Nutrition vs. traditional Nutritional Companies’ approach of providing simply “good nutrition”. I wish we had been recording it. I could tell Curt had done a lot of research on the YOR Health line and what makes them so effective.

When the presentation was finished, we did a taste testing and got a chance to introduce our guests to everyone. I was glad to see that everyone responded very well to the opportunity we had just presented to them, and there seemed to be a lot of smiles and laughter. During this time Curt began handing out folders containing YOR Health applications and product order forms. He prefaced this part with, “We are all friends here, and we don’t want anyone to signup for this if you are not ready or not interested.” He also stated that, “If you are not interested now, feel free to keep the folder and take it home. If you decide later that you want to join us in sharing YOR Health, then just give us a call and we will be here to support you.” The fact that Curt was so upfront and “gentle” with his pitch to my friends really made me feel good. I didn’t want my guests to feel pressured in anyway.

So, what was the outcome of the kick-off party? Of the 4 people I invited, 3 of them purchased a product set and were enrolled to help us share YOR Health products with others! YAY! for Tami, John, and Jess! I was so excited that my friends and I were going to have an additional reason to spend more time together. While driving home from Sarah’s that night I had the biggest smile on my face. I thought to myself, this YOR Health thing is not only fun, but it is also much easier than I thought it was going to be! Looking back on it now, I should have knocked on some wood…

Three days later, I received a call from Jess. She sounded totally bummed and wanted to talk to me about the YOR Health opportunity that she signed up for. My first reaction was that she found the same YOR Health scam stuff online that I found when I first did research on the company. She said, “You are not going to believe what happened this morning.” She went on to say that she ran her dishwasher right before heading to bed the night before, and when she woke up that morning and the water line connected to her dishwasher had burst and all of her flooring, carpet, and cabinets were completely ruined. I asked her if she had insurance, and luckily she did, but the insurance would not cover everything, and the water damage also went through to the rooms below the kitchen.

I felt so bad for her, and she told me that she needed to find a way to come up with money quickly and that she felt that she would need to return the YOR Health products she recently purchased. I told her she was in luck because they have a 30-day money back guarantee. Jess told me that she had opened almost everything that she had purchased, and I let her know that YOR Health will refund her even if the bottles are empty.

This got me thinking; I was curious how YOR health would handle Jessica’s request for a refund. I told Jess that I would like to know her experience after she calls about the refund. I figured that for my future business growth I would need to know what to tell people if they ask me about the refund process.

After about 30 minutes Jess called me back and let me know that she had a couple options for the refund. She could stop by the corporate office and drop off the products, or mail them back. So, she decided that drop-off would be the fastest solution for her. Later she told me the experience was very painless and the corporate office even had the refund statement set aside for her when she got there. The woman that helped her was very polite and even offered to issue her a check refund to expedite the refund, due to urgent nature of Jess’s situation. Jess told me that she opted for the normal credit card and they issued it back to her credit card while she was there. Jess told me that she did indeed receive the credit back to her card, and she was quite satisfied with the entire process.

I was happy to hear that YOR Health honored their refund policy for Jess with no hassle! This leads me to the title of what I am calling this article. I truly am truly bummed that Jess had to refund her products, and is unable to join our team. BUT I am very proud that YOR Health was able to accommodate Jess with her refund quickly and with no resistance. This is great for me because I know that her experience with YOR Health was still a good one, and I know she will get involved when the time is right for her!

I would like to conclude this article with a small thought about the YOR Health opportunity. Despite Jessica refunding her products, I still feel that Sarah’s house party was very successful and also very enjoyable. I can’t help but compare that to what I have been doing for the last 8 years. I enjoy Real Estate but it seems so much more difficult to sell houses for a living than it does to share these YOR Health products with people I love, and make them healthier. Even though I can’t currently commit more than a few nights a week to YOR Health, I think that I am going to make efforts to reschedule my week to allow for a more active involvement.

I would like to close by thanking Jess for allowing me to post her story on my blog to allow others to see my experiences. I would also like to wish her and her family the best during these hard times, and if I can be of any assistance, please call.

God Bless,

Jen

An MLM Expert’s Review of YOR Health

As you may know, I recently joined the YOR Health Network Marketing company, and so far so great! Despite my initial scare of “YOR Health SCAM”, that I read about the first night I was researching the company, my participation in the company to date has been a blast! I have met a lot of great people here in the Orange County area with fascinating backgrounds and from all walks of life. So far, this has been a true breathe of fresh air for me!

Next, I want to take a moment to talk about the products. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE PRODUCTS! I have been taking the products for several weeks now, and using them in conjunction with the regimen provided by the company. Almost instantly I noticed the follow improvements to my overall health.

1.) I had much more energy throughout my day
2.) Healthier hair
3.) Stronger nails
4.) Clearer skin
5.) I have also lost 7 pounds so far!!

I will probably follow up with a full article about my YOR Health experiences in a few days, but for now I want to address the off-the-wall random event for the week.

So over the weekend, an old college friend of mine texted me out of the blue with a text that read. “Hey Jenny girl! This is Mel from Read Hall, I hope life has been treating you well [smiley face] I think I might have something you would be interested in!”

Talk about a blast from the past. I was so surprised and also confused how Mel had found my cell number and contacted me. I was also baffled. What was she referring to in her text? I figured there was only one way to find out, so instead of playing the texting game I decided to call her and ask.

Mel answered and she was very energetic, as always. She asked me how I had been, I told her about my 2 daughters and how I am still living in beautiful Southern California. After a little more small talk, Mel revealed to me that she had been involved with a great “direct sales” company for several years now and was looking for more strong business oriented woman to join up with her. I thought to myself, “Wow, this sounds familiar…”

She went on to say that she is almost making a six figure income with them, and all I would need to do is follow her lead, and she would help work the business for me. At this point I realized I needed to let Mel know that I too was in fact involved with a network marketing company.

When I told Mel that I had joined YOR Health, she said that she had heard of the company before but had not yet looked into it. I asked Mel if she would do me a favor and pull up the YOR Health website and let me know what she thought.

Of course I was expecting her to tell me how much better her company was than YOR Health, and how I needed to join up with her, but actually she seemed quite surprised. She told me that the YOR Health compensation plan looks really promising, she said mainly because YOR Health pays 50% of the sales to the Distributor force. I asked her if that was good? She said there are other Network Marketing companies out there that claim that they pay 50% of sales, but they normally don’t pay CV (Commissionable Volume) at a ratio of 1:1.

I asked her to explain that to me. Mel explained that most companies will charge something like $145 for a package, but the distributor will only earn 100CV on the sale. This means the company is already profiting $45 of the sale, and then they pay out only 50% of the CV. So that means 50% of 100 dollars, or in this case $50.

I told her that seems deceptive. She said that it is a pretty slimy trick that a lot of companies use in this industry, but a real MLM expert can see right through it. She said that YOR Health appears to pay out almost dollar for dollar, which makes them appear very ethical in her book.

This made me feel really good, since I don’t really know things like this. I then asked Mel if she noticed anything else that was either good or bad about the information on the company website. Next she clicked the testimonial link and she said, “Wow, this list of testimonials is pretty impressive.” I let her know I also thought the same thing when I first visited the website, and I also told her briefly about Sarah’s amazing transformation.

She asked me if Sarah had a testimonial on the website so she could also see her transformation. I told Mel that Sarah had not submitted one yet, but she was planning on it. Mel made another good statement regarding testimonials. She said, “It really is amazing how many people don’t submit testimonials even when their experience has changed their lives.” This got me thinking about how many good YOR Health testimonials are out there that are not even on the website.

Next, Mel talked about the products, and asked me what makes them different than other companies’ products. I explained to her that YOR Health focuses on Effective Nutrition using patented enzyme blends. Mel seemed interested, so I gave her a quick run through of the product line and my experience with them so far.

After I was finished talking about the products Mel seemed pretty impressed. I told her that I have been pretty passionate about the company ever since I started because of how good I am feeling these days, and also the people I have been able to meet. Mel replied, “That is how you know you found the right network marketing company; when you do it right, it does not even feel like work!”

I asked Mel, if she had any complaints about the company that she worked for? She told me the biggest problem she faces is that there are always companies that are producing similar products to the ones that she sells and that they try to undercut her prices. She said they claim to do the same thing, but for cheaper. I asked her if it was hurting her business and she told me that she has noticed that it does not affect the people that signup with her so much, but rather people don’t seem to be sticking around as long.

By the way she explained it; it seemed that it might be a fundamental flaw with the way her company is structured. I asked her, if her company had any unique products that they planned on launching anytime soon to help counter this issue? She simply didn’t know of anything, and said it is not that the product is not unique, but that people seem to have lost the focus on our product all together.

This came as a surprise to me because in YOR Health, the products are undoubtedly the star of the company. I have also received a good amount of product training to date, and also everyone in the company says, “first you have to be a product of the product!” and I truly believe that is a great approach when starting any new business venture.

I asked Mel if she would consider doing YOR Health on the side of the MLM she was currently with. She said that she already had a large group at the current company she is with and she would not be able to help me build YOR Health. BUT she did tell me that YOR Health really appears to have a solid grip on this industry and from what she could see they were making all the right moves to become a really large and successful MLM company one day.

This made me feel great, and I was thrilled that Mel had texted me! Which lead to the question, how the heck did she get my number? When I asked Mel she told me a really funny story, but basically it turns out I sold a house to someone she recently bumped into, and they gave her my cell number. Such a small yet wonderful world we live in!

So maybe YOR Health is not for Mel at this time, but I have a feeling I will be talking with her again about this same topic in the not so distant future.

The YOR Health journey continues!
