Does the YOR Health Refund Process WORK?
What I have noticed in Network Marketing so far is that you can never count your chickens before they are hatched. About a week ago I invited a couple friends of mine to a YOR Health “kick-off party” at Sarah’s house. Among my guests was one of my best friends, Jessica. Jessica is also an OC woman and has worked in Advertising over the past couple years. I figured she would be an ideal candidate to join my team and help me promote YOR Health!
On the night of the party, I was pleased to see all my guests arrived on time, and the general feel of the gathering was again very casual and light. Sarah gave a little history on herself, and then turned the floor over to Curt, who presented the YOR Health products and opportunity. Everyone seemed fascinated by the enzyme based product line. Curt did a great job presenting the part about Effective Nutrition vs. traditional Nutritional Companies’ approach of providing simply “good nutrition”. I wish we had been recording it. I could tell Curt had done a lot of research on the YOR Health line and what makes them so effective.
When the presentation was finished, we did a taste testing and got a chance to introduce our guests to everyone. I was glad to see that everyone responded very well to the opportunity we had just presented to them, and there seemed to be a lot of smiles and laughter. During this time Curt began handing out folders containing YOR Health applications and product order forms. He prefaced this part with, “We are all friends here, and we don’t want anyone to signup for this if you are not ready or not interested.” He also stated that, “If you are not interested now, feel free to keep the folder and take it home. If you decide later that you want to join us in sharing YOR Health, then just give us a call and we will be here to support you.” The fact that Curt was so upfront and “gentle” with his pitch to my friends really made me feel good. I didn’t want my guests to feel pressured in anyway.
So, what was the outcome of the kick-off party? Of the 4 people I invited, 3 of them purchased a product set and were enrolled to help us share YOR Health products with others! YAY! for Tami, John, and Jess! I was so excited that my friends and I were going to have an additional reason to spend more time together. While driving home from Sarah’s that night I had the biggest smile on my face. I thought to myself, this YOR Health thing is not only fun, but it is also much easier than I thought it was going to be! Looking back on it now, I should have knocked on some wood…
Three days later, I received a call from Jess. She sounded totally bummed and wanted to talk to me about the YOR Health opportunity that she signed up for. My first reaction was that she found the same YOR Health scam stuff online that I found when I first did research on the company. She said, “You are not going to believe what happened this morning.” She went on to say that she ran her dishwasher right before heading to bed the night before, and when she woke up that morning and the water line connected to her dishwasher had burst and all of her flooring, carpet, and cabinets were completely ruined. I asked her if she had insurance, and luckily she did, but the insurance would not cover everything, and the water damage also went through to the rooms below the kitchen.
I felt so bad for her, and she told me that she needed to find a way to come up with money quickly and that she felt that she would need to return the YOR Health products she recently purchased. I told her she was in luck because they have a 30-day money back guarantee. Jess told me that she had opened almost everything that she had purchased, and I let her know that YOR Health will refund her even if the bottles are empty.
This got me thinking; I was curious how YOR health would handle Jessica’s request for a refund. I told Jess that I would like to know her experience after she calls about the refund. I figured that for my future business growth I would need to know what to tell people if they ask me about the refund process.
After about 30 minutes Jess called me back and let me know that she had a couple options for the refund. She could stop by the corporate office and drop off the products, or mail them back. So, she decided that drop-off would be the fastest solution for her. Later she told me the experience was very painless and the corporate office even had the refund statement set aside for her when she got there. The woman that helped her was very polite and even offered to issue her a check refund to expedite the refund, due to urgent nature of Jess’s situation. Jess told me that she opted for the normal credit card and they issued it back to her credit card while she was there. Jess told me that she did indeed receive the credit back to her card, and she was quite satisfied with the entire process.
I was happy to hear that YOR Health honored their refund policy for Jess with no hassle! This leads me to the title of what I am calling this article. I truly am truly bummed that Jess had to refund her products, and is unable to join our team. BUT I am very proud that YOR Health was able to accommodate Jess with her refund quickly and with no resistance. This is great for me because I know that her experience with YOR Health was still a good one, and I know she will get involved when the time is right for her!
I would like to conclude this article with a small thought about the YOR Health opportunity. Despite Jessica refunding her products, I still feel that Sarah’s house party was very successful and also very enjoyable. I can’t help but compare that to what I have been doing for the last 8 years. I enjoy Real Estate but it seems so much more difficult to sell houses for a living than it does to share these YOR Health products with people I love, and make them healthier. Even though I can’t currently commit more than a few nights a week to YOR Health, I think that I am going to make efforts to reschedule my week to allow for a more active involvement.
I would like to close by thanking Jess for allowing me to post her story on my blog to allow others to see my experiences. I would also like to wish her and her family the best during these hard times, and if I can be of any assistance, please call.
God Bless,
Jen
